WHO WE ARE
Not inspiration. Income, trade and ownership.
The AfCFTA is the largest free trade agreement in the world by participating countries a single market of 1.4 billion people across 54 nations. But trade agreements are not gender-neutral. Without deliberate effort, women are left at the margins of the very economy they help drive.
Tindira exists to close that gap turning a continental instrument into practical economic opportunity for African women. And because economic power passes down, what women earn, trade and own today becomes the inheritance of the girls who come after them.

ETOP is the operational spine a ladder from a first income to lasting ownership. It is how the vision of POET is actually delivered.

Earn More : Access to the export sectors and value chains where trade lifts women's wages and formalises their work.

Trade More : Practical capability to trade across borders under the AfCFTA : customs, standards, digital trade and finance.

Own More : Moving from trading to owning : businesses, brands, IP and equity within continental value chains.

Prosper More : Measuring whether integration is actually translating into prosperity for women, through the Tindira Prosperity Index.
THE OPPORTUNITY
The largest market in the world is opening. Women must be in it.
In February 2024, the African Union adopted the AfCFTA Protocol on Women and Youth in Trade placing women at the centre of the continent’s trade ecosystem
Tindira’s task is to turn that Protocol into income on the ground: to make sure the women who already move goods across borders, grow the food and make the products are the ones who benefit as the market formalises.
